It accepted W10 without difficulties, and the Broadcom driver was carried over with each upgrade – until now. Thanks for the suggestion to open a new thread. Pros No pros or cons.

My problem is similar, but it lies in Windows In reply to DerekMcLean’s post on May 15, I have the same question I have to use device manager to remove it then scan for hardware changes which reinstalls it and everything it then fine.
Summary Nice and simple. Dlel did a remarkable job pushing the fix internally, and brodacom has been integrated into KB which is cumulative update for Windows 10 Creators Update dated August 2nd.
How satisfied are you with this reply? It’s only the last couple of days this has been happening. I am an Engineer in the Windows Networking team. Device manager says the Ethernet controller is working, but I can’t get it to look for bgoadcom updated driver for obvious reasons.

Did this solve your problem? Before that I had to use a wireless adapter and the intergrated adapter is so much faster.
Once reported, our staff will be notified and the comment will be reviewed. I disabled the controller to make wifi work long ago when I installed Creators Upgrade, as many other people did. Now I can’t access the internet.
