I have the exact same problem, same setup worked fine for 2 days then booted to VGAsave. If you have a Restore Point you could roll back to there. I have an issue with Intel HD drivers on my Windows 7 installation. Windows doesn’t know beforehand where you are getting the driver. Did the machine fail to boot? Elvandil , Dec 19,

Try uninstalling all 3 of those devices and rebooting. Have you tried installing an alternate video driver like one of the ones from Laptopvideo2go.

Solved: VGAsave Driver

It doesn’t look like the ethernet controller is installed. So I still don’t understand why the CD was needed. Don’t go anywhere else. A few days ago I tried to update to the latest version of this driver and after a restart it got stuck with the default Windows VGAsave driver.

Otherwise I would suggest reinstalling the latest Intel driver rather than the adapter. And at this point I’m not remembering what I had to do that triggered it into working again. Currently it is the 6.

I set the resolution back to normal, but noticed that I couldn’t get my notebook to enter sleep or hibernation mode. You just turn it on and it boots up. When boot menu shows up, choose “Safe Mode”. If it is, see if you can see any witing on the graphics card if you can open it up about what card you have.

I’d suggest re-downloading the latest driver for your video device and installing them, it should make Vgasave stop acting as the video. Don’t do anything with the BIOS files. Sign up using Facebook. Then intsl do the same with the Intel Video driver, R To recover the drivers for the graphics adapter, you can first restore the original graphics drivers using this method: You go down to Network and click it so it opens and then download the Broadcom driver, R
