I have the exact same problem, same setup worked fine for 2 days then booted to VGAsave. If you have a Restore Point you could roll back to there. Try uninstalling all 3 of those devices and rebooting. Have you tried installing an alternate video driver like one of the ones from Laptopvideo2go.

Solved: VGAsave Driver
It doesn’t look like the ethernet controller is installed. So I still don’t understand why the CD was needed. Don’t go anywhere else. A few days ago I tried to update to the latest version of this driver and after a restart it got stuck with the default Windows VGAsave driver.
Otherwise I would suggest reinstalling the latest Intel driver rather than the adapter. And at this point I’m not remembering what I had to do that triggered it into working again. Currently it is the 6.

I set the resolution back to normal, but noticed that I couldn’t get my notebook to enter sleep or hibernation mode. You just turn it on and it boots up. When boot menu shows up, choose “Safe Mode”. If it is, see if you can see any witing on the graphics card if you can open it up about what card you have.

Have you been to the manufacturer’s site for drivers? Restart computer, as soon as the screen is black start pressing F8 repeatedly.
I’d suggest re-downloading the latest driver for your video device and installing them, it should make Vgasave stop acting as the video. Don’t do anything with the BIOS files. Sign up using Facebook. You need one for the display as well as the network card.
